T-SHIRT

A T-shirt, or teeshirt, also spelled T-shirt or t-shirt (/ti.ʃœʁt), which owes its name to its "T" shape. Sometimes called a short-sleeved vest in French-speaking Canada, called a bodysuit in French, collarless and initially short-sleeved but eventually long-sleeved, with a hood or a turtleneck. It is made of mesh (stretchy) fabric, usually cotton or polyester fibers. The T-shirt was originally worn as underwear, but is now used as a separate garment, marking the wearer's casualness, especially in summer.
